I have a very keen fascination for cars, torque, speed and horsepower; those terms excite me. But I recently stumbled upon a documentary examining aerodynamics and how it works.
In all honesty a lot of the engineering terms were too complex for my lay man’s mind. Nonetheless, one very crucial information stood out. This had me questioning everything I ever thought I knew about life.
My simple understanding is that air is both a catalyst and resistance for lift in a air plane. Its has a lot of similarities with a bird, a bird flaps its wings at the beginning of a flight, but once in the air; it just glides through and doesn’t flap as much.
